Before you post here

Struggles & Support is for hard days, said out loud. You do not need a reason that sounds big enough. Before you post, a few things worth knowing.

If you are in danger right now

This community is not a crisis line, and we may not see your post straight away. If you might harm yourself, or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number now. In the app, tap I feel an urge, then Reach out, for the crisis line and the people you added. Wherever you are, findahelpline.com lists crisis lines in many countries.

What happens after you post

•
The Stillmonk Team moderates this category, but we are a small team and not online around the clock. We may not see every post, and a reply from us may take a while.
•
Posts with words that may signal a crisis are flagged automatically and go to the top of the team's report queue. That is not the same as someone watching, which is why the section above matters.
•
Other members may reply too. What they share is their own experience, not professional advice.

It is public

Like the rest of the community, this category can be read by anyone and can show up in search results. Use a name you go by, and leave out details that identify you or anyone else.

Keep it safe for the next reader

Speak to the feeling, not the method. Graphic detail can pull someone else back. If a reply feels unkind, use Report rather than replying. Reports are private.
Thank you for trusting this place with a hard day.
