If you are in danger right now, contact your local emergency number. In the US and Canada you can call or text 988. In another country, findahelpline.com lists free lines near you. The crisis line in the app is free and never needs a membership.
Cancel your membership
A monthly or yearly membership is a subscription in your app store, and you cancel it there, not by writing to us. In the app, Settings, then Plan, then Manage or cancel plan opens your store's page for it. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep membership until the end of the period you already paid for. Then you are back on the free plan, with your whole climb kept. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Stillmonk, then Cancel Subscription.
Apple's own steps, including for a Mac or the web: Cancel a subscription from Apple.
On Android
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Stillmonk, then Cancel subscription.
Google's own steps: Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.
A lifetime plan is a single payment, so there is nothing to cancel. Deleting the app, or deleting your Stillmonk account, does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your store as well.
Refunds
Apple and Google take every payment, so refunds go through them, under their own policies. We never see your card and cannot issue a refund ourselves.
- App Store: Request a refund from Apple.
- Google Play: Google Play refund policies.
Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law where you live.
A new phone, or restoring a purchase
Your climb is saved to your Stillmonk account. On a new phone, install the app and choose "I already have an account" with the same email, Apple or Google sign-in.
If your membership does not show up, tap Restore purchases: it is on the membership screen, and in Settings, then Plan. It checks your store for a plan you already bought. If it still does not appear, write to support@stillmonk.io with the store you bought from and roughly when, and we will sort it out.
Your data
Download a copy
In the app, Settings, then Privacy & security, then Download my data shares a copy of your account data as a file you can save.
Delete your account
Settings, then Delete account at the bottom of the page, permanently erases your account and what is stored for it on our servers, including check-ins, Sage history, notes and trusted people, and your community profile, posts and comments. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel a subscription.
Delete only your Sage history
Write to support@stillmonk.io from the email on your account.
What we store, who processes it and for how long is in the privacy policy. How Sage works, and where its messages go, is on its own page.
Something is not working
Write to support@stillmonk.io (in the app, Settings, then Contact support) and a person will answer. It helps to say which phone you use and what you tapped just before it went wrong. Please never send a password or card details.
For a post or comment in the community, sign in and use Report on it: reports are private, and the Stillmonk team reviews them. The community is not a crisis line. Its guidelines say what belongs there.
