The short version: Stillmonk is a calm companion for a hard habit, not a clinic. It is free to start, with an optional membership billed by your app store, and you can cancel a membership whenever you like.

What Stillmonk is, and what it is not
Stillmonk is a habit and wellbeing companion. It counts clean days, offers a breathing tool and hands back the reasons you wrote yourself.
It is not therapy, not a diagnosis, not a treatment programme and not a substitute for professional care. It makes no medical claims and it will not cure anything. If you are in crisis or you need clinical help, please contact a doctor, a licensed therapist or your local emergency service.
The crisis line in the app is chosen for your phone's region and is run by an independent service, not by us; its hours and numbers can change. Where no verified line is listed for your region, the app shows your local emergency number when it is known, and findahelpline.com. The trusted people you add are reached only by you, from your own phone.
Who can use it
You need to be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your account details to yourself.
The free plan, membership and payment
Stillmonk is free to download and free to use. The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. It includes the day count, the daily check-in, the climb, three urge tools (Breathe, Ride it out and Why I started), calling or texting your people, the crisis line, private notes, reminders, and reading the community.
Membership is optional. It adds Sage, the Library, every urge tool, and posting, commenting and liking in the community. It comes as a yearly or monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, and every option includes the same features. Prices are shown in your local currency before you pay. The breathing tool and crisis information never need a payment.
Memberships are billed by Apple or Google, depending on the store you bought from. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You cancel in your app-store subscription settings rather than by asking us, and cancelling stops the next renewal while you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. When a membership ends, your account returns to the free plan and keeps everything: your climb, notes and badges. A lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew. You can restore a purchase on a new device from inside the app. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, and nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law.
Fair use
Please do not break the app on purpose, try to get into other people's accounts, copy it, or resell it. If you do, we may close your account.
Your content
Your reasons, check-ins, private notes, and messages stay yours. You give us the permission needed to store and process them to provide the features you use, including sending recent Sage messages through OpenRouter to an AI provider when you use Sage. Apart from what you post in the community (below), your content is not published to other users. See our privacy policy for how our service providers process it.
The community
Anyone can read the Stillmonk Community, in the app and at stillmonk.io/community. Posting, commenting and liking are part of membership and use your Stillmonk account. What you post there is public: anyone can read it, and search engines can show it in their results. You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to host, display and share it as part of the community, on the web and in the app, for as long as it stays up. You can edit or delete it at any time.
Please follow the community guidelines: be kind, leave out other people's names and details, skip graphic detail, and leave out links, emails and phone numbers. The Stillmonk team can hide, lock or remove posts and comments, and pause posting for someone who keeps breaking the guidelines. What other members share is their own experience, not professional advice. The community is not a crisis line: if you are in danger, contact your local emergency number.
How moderation works. People on the Stillmonk team moderate the community. Some checks run automatically: a post or comment with a link, an email address or a phone number is not published, and you are told why; one with words that may signal a crisis is published as usual, with a private flag so the team can check in first; and there are limits on how often anyone can post, comment, like or report, lower on a member's first day, with a message when you reach one. Every other decision to hide, lock or remove content, or to pause someone's posting, is made by a person. If that happens to your post, comment or account, the app tells you, and you can write to us to ask why and to ask us to look at it again.
Reporting illegal content. Anyone, with or without an account, can tell us about something in the community they believe is illegal by writing to support@stillmonk.io. Please include the link to the post or comment, why you believe it is illegal, your name and email address (you may leave these out when reporting child sexual abuse material), and a line confirming that you believe your report is accurate. We look at every report, decide without undue delay, and tell you what we decided. Members can also use Report on any post or comment.
Point of contact. Our single point of contact for members, other users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act is support@stillmonk.io, in English or Slovenian.
Our content
The Stillmonk name, the artwork and the app itself belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app, and nothing more.
No guarantees
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never have a bug or an outage, and we cannot promise any particular outcome for your habit. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes and ending it
We may change the app or these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page. You can stop using Stillmonk at any time. Cancel a membership subscription in your app-store settings and delete your account in Stillmonk Settings, or contact us for help. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account, and deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you live in the EU or the UK, you keep the protections of the consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
If you got Stillmonk from the Apple App Store
These terms are between you and WOICE d.o.o., not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content. Your licence is to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store usage rules.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app; support comes from us at support@stillmonk.io. If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies by law, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer-protection or privacy claims. If anyone claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with it.
You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile network's.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you. Google and Apple are otherwise not parties to these terms.
